why babie? – the real deal, the real me

Here are my mutterings for the week:

1. Inception :: I haven’t watched it yet. I am too busy to watch a movie these days

3. Space ::d out, I usually am these past few days because of things that I ponder on.
4. Earn :: I hope I will be able to do that the next few weeks and after I have given birth

It is a good thing that my daughter does not have any classes tomorrow. Hopefully, we will be able to sleep in until 9 or possibly even 10 am.  Even if she does not have school, we still have homework to do and tests to study for.  So it is going to be a busy day for us.  For tomorrow,  I plan to review Science first so she can learn about the history of gold and how it has been used to trade for several centuries. She needs to learn that gold does not depreciate in value regardless of whether the economy is booming or not.  Hopefully after this, she knows its importance and eventually able to discern on whether or not it is a good time to buy gold bullion.  Actually, based on the US Gold Bureau now is the best time to invest on them.  We should listen to them because they are a team of experts when it comes to precious metals.

I have just finished with the 3 articles for my Aussie boss and  I need to do 3 more (before I go to sleep).  Good thing my daughter is now sleeping. She is already storing her energy for tomorrow. We have a full schedule. Thus, I will not be able to get any work done  too so I need to finish them all now.

Anyways,  I am taking a breather (with the friday fill-in meme).. before I start again.

5. It’s hard to know how much if there isn’t any price tag.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to finishing my pending articles, tomorrow my plans include attending the Family Day (in the morning) and Anevay’s birthday (in the afternoon) and Sunday, I want to rest!

Yesterday, we let our daughter wear her school’s dengue outfit. Yeah, they have that. It is part of the dengue awareness program thing.  I am grateful that they have it because I know that my daughter is protected from those nasty mosquitoes that carry the disease.  So aside from her regular uniform, she has a dengue uniform and a pe uniform. You can wear the dengue uniform for the rainy season.  We all love it on her because she is not only protected from mosquito bites but she is also protected from the sun. Hehehee! However, when I picked her up from school she was all sweaty.

She looked so grown-up na noh? Actually, time really flies by so fast.. so it is time to invest in something that will be worth someday not only to me but to her too.  You can never tell what’s going to happen in the future.  That is why my best best when it comes to investment is gold coins.  Why pass it up?  Thinking about it now reminds me of the business venture that my dad wants me and my siblings to take.  It is a business venture that will give us the chance to earn a lot of money (not in pesos but in dollars).  He wants us to grab this as it was presented to him by a client.  I do not know if he was able to talk to my other sibs though. I better ask them.

I am wondering how my friend is doing. She lost a child and ever since the baby was placed to rest  I gave her space because I know she needed time to grieve just like I needed time to be alone when I had a miscarriage.  She is such a happy person and I do not know if I will be as happy as she is despite everything that has happened. She lost her dad at such a young age. She lost her mom to colon cancer a couple of years back. At that time, we read about all that we can about colon cleanse reviews to help them out.  She also lost her baby last summer.  Anyways, our friends are trying to contact her but she does not respond. I guess she does not want to be contacted yet.  So I will still give her space but I want her to know that I am still for her just like she has been there for me all these years.

One of the gifts that my daughter received is a polly pocket dog collection version.  Cai gave this to her. Thanks Cai!    She even slept with one of them (with the dog house) the first night while the other dogs were placed in her Hot Wheels case where each dog has its own compartment.   You know what she did with each of the dogs? She ripped tiny pieces of newspaper and gave each one a blanket.  I know she got this from her lola jet because lola jet loves dogs and she has lots of them.  So my daughter knows how newspapers are placed underneath each of the  dog cages for the pee and the poo especially if they are being toilet trained.

Funny noh?  That’s why we have to be careful when dealing with children because they are like sponges.  They really follow what they see from adults.

I am left alone again on a Saturday to do a couple of things that were left behind this week.  My daughter and my husband left for a while because my daughter has lessons every Saturday while hubby waits for her to finish. I was supposed to go too so I could get a pedi while waiting but I still had several things that needed to get done first. Besides I love this time alone even if it is just for a little while.  I know mommies love their alone time because it does not come often. I am actually savoring it while looking for cheap insurance so I will be able to surprise hubby.  He has been pushing me to look for one for the past couple of months now.  Mommies are like this noh?  Even if it is our time for ourselves we still think about them.

I almost forgot to say that my daughter did not want to let anybody ruin her cake. She did not even want to put the candles on the cake.  We had to go around the Buzz Light year design and the Happy Birthday sign so we could at least have a taste of the cake. I had to convince her that we should let people eat it because it will just go to waste.

Hehehee! Funny cheska.. she is always like this every year.  You see she is the one who chooses her cake design every year and every year she does not want people ruining it by eating the cake. Next year, she will have a smaller version of the cake so we can serve the big one to the guests.

My daughter had a great day on her birthday even if we were a little late picking her up at school because we had to buy all the food stuff that will be prepared.  Good thing it did not ruin her day. So when we picked her up she was all smiles and asked her where she wanted to go. She said Toy Kingdom and so we proceeded to Megamall.  When we got there, we asked her where she wanted to eat and she said Pollo Loco.  It is her favorite fastfood restaurant now. At least it is a little healthier than the others because the chicken is grilled instead of fried.  Afterwards, she wanted to go straight to Toy Kingdom for her gifts.  She had a hard time choosing what she wanted.  Just like I said in my previous blog post, she was given a cart and all the toys that she liked she can put in there.   When she finally decided what toys she liked the best, she wanted to go to Amici for some gelato.  So that’s where we went and we all had our gelato fill.  Since it was getting late, I asked her if we could go home but she did not want to yet. She wanted to go to an arcade and play.  So that’s where we went and she was given 3 bags of tokens to finish.  She finished all of them in record time.  Hehehehe!  I am actually amazed at how lucky she is because she seemed to get all the jackpot prizes.  Any hoo, that’s the time when we convinced her to go home because  it was getting late and we were supposed to pick up her cake.  She finally agreed to going home but not before we pass by the pet store first.

Anyways, when we finally got home, her cousins were already here and waiting for her.   She practiced together with her cousin J for their dance number and they presented their dance number to us.  I will probably upload it at her FB account.  Little by little her other guests arrived.  All in all, she was extremely happy on her birthday and I want to thank all of you for making it so.  Thank you Lolo Celso, Lola Jet, Tito Elmer, Ate Julia, Kuya Eli, Tita Che, Cai, Tita Jula, Tito Kiko, Tito Iggy, Tita Mavic, Ate Micki, Tito Edwin, Tita Vangie, Kuya Kyle, Ate Nicole, Janna, Tita Ayeng, Lolo Roseo, Tita Cha cha and Kiyo. I think that everybody had fun. Everybody had somebody to talk to.  I even had somebody to discuss acneticin review with. Cha-cha was right when she said that we are extremely blessed for having a family such as ours.  She sent me this text message the next day.
