why babie? – the real deal, the real me

My daughter’s moving up day will be on Friday. I am uber excited!  I have already asked her Lola Jet to come with us so she can finally see how my daughter performs before she finally leaves that school. Next year, it’s going to be different since she will be going to a big school. So this is big for us! She is finally graduating from pre-school. Although, technically she will still be in prep  next year. We have decided to transfer her so she can adjust to the environment before she hits grade 1 and we hope she can make great friends too. People that she can remain friends with until the day she graduates from grade school, high school and even after.

Sayang nga because each student is only allotted 3 tickets due to limited seating capacity.  Dalhin ko sana buong angkan namin. Hahahaha!

I am now on my 2nd trimester. Yey! My doctor has already given the go signal for all the activities that I want to do this summer.   She even told me I can already go swimming. I can go to the beach, to a resort. I can go to basically any place where there are pools. Well, except for the spa. I can’t go to the spa especially to Ace Water Spa since the water ranges from luke warm to hot.  Tsk! Tsk!   I really love going there especially since the facilities are clean.  There is no question about it, their spa filter works.  So even if there are a lot of people, you are assured that the pools are clean. I suggest that you go there very early in the morning. Usually, the only people there are old people.  The kids come after lunch or just before lunch.  Anyways, my trip to the spa will just have to wait until I have given birth. However, I vow to go swimming at least 3x this summer.  There are a lot of resorts nearby where my daughter and I can dip for a few minutes just to cool off and minimize the summer heat.

My blog is back and I will tell you all about what happened to it in my next entry. Meanwhile, here’s my mutterings for the week.

1. Detective :: Rubi’s adopted parents hired one. Yes, I watch that show.
2. Bangs :: I am letting my daughter grow it out.
3. Consultant :: is an option for me
4. Puzzle :: my daughter loves doing them now
5. Learn :: to do something new. Yes, I am currently thinking of whether I should delve into it.
6. Necklace :: I do not wear one these days. I prefer to wear earrings and my ring.

8. Stimulation :: To check whether you will get any response at all
9. Layered :: look
10. Police :: is reliable (well most of the time anyways)

I wonder if I should start buying for some baby stuff for the baby. I know I have just ended with my first trimester but from what I can recall, I had a hard time moving around during my 7th month with my first pregnancy.  I will not buy a lot of stuff just a few things that I will need especially during the first few months.  If I will be getting another CS, I know I will not be able to go out and move around after I have given birth.  Thus, I need to buy the things while I am pregnant or else I will not be able to buy them.

Actually, I remember regretting not planning the baptism of my daughter while I was pregnant. It is so hard to coordinate with all the suppliers at home. Unless, the baptism happens a couple of months after I have given birth.  Speaking of which, investing is also like having a baby. You have to prepare yourself for what is to come. So you have to read up on all that you can about it. Like when you are about to buy gold coins, you just do not go around and buy them wherever you feel like buying them.  You need to read up and stock up on knowledge. So you will know if it is a good time to buy them or where is the best possible place to purchase them.

I have almost forgotten, last month (on the day of hearts), my sister gave birth to a baby girl.  She named the baby Maria Isabella. Actually, she named the baby after Bella from twilight.  I was actually rooting for the names Kris Heart. Hehehe. But she was already calling the baby Bella even before she had given birth. So Bella it is.   She now has 3 boys and 1 baby girl.

Baby Bella is so cute. She actually looked like the smaller version of my daughter.  Take a look, this was how my daughter looked like when I have just given birth to her. Although she was a lot bigger than Bella.  I grabbed this photo from my sister’s FB account. Hehehe!

I am sure she will be breaking lots of Edward hearts and Jacob hearts in the future.

It’s going to be a busy weekend for us.  This time the things that we will be doing are not really for us but for others. My husband will be attending practices Saturday and Sunday because he is the chosen speaker for this Sunday’s service. So he has to choose and rehearse the songs for praise and worship.  Plus, he also has to practice for the dance thing for the youth concert that will be happening this month. Can you believe it? Lol! If you want to watch, I have tickets. It only costs 30 pesos each and it is for a noble cause. All of the money that the youth ministry will be getting will fund this outreach program that the church is planning to have this summer.  They plan to visit and spread the Good News to one of the tribes that exists in the mountains near Baguio. I can’t seem to recall now the exact name of the tribe where they will be going.

As for me, I will be looking for wedding favors for a friend.  She asked me if I could help her out since she is clueless when it comes to things like these. Since my husband is going to be busy I do not think he will mind that I will be keeping myself busy too.  While we are at it, I am hoping I will be able to find a fetal doppler device.  I haven’t found one yet and I am still quite hesitant to order one online. I want to check the device out first before I buy it. I want to see if it really works.

Last weekend, my daughter attended a swimming party held at Water Nymph Resort.  It was the 6th birthday of one of her classmates. Usually swimming parties are held during the summer. But since it was just too hot during the past few days, it was not a wonder why my daughter’s classmate wanted a swimming party.

Since I could not accompany her, the husband was the one who went with her. Based on the pictures taken, she definitely had fun. I already pasted some of the photos and a video at my daughter’s fb account. Yes, she has one. I made her one so she could play with Farmville and Cafe World without touching mine. Lol!

When I was in bed rest arrest, I dreamt of eating. Yes, I was hungry most of the time because I could not eat what I wanted to eat. When I got better, I made up for it by eating what I wanted to eat during the times when I want to eat it with or without hubby. Although, I was always with my daughter. Hehehe. It is actually not surprising that  I need to find a way to quick trim burn and cleanse all of these fatty foods away. Do not worry though because any thing that I will do will be with the approval of my doctor.

Check out some of the stuff that I have eaten. Please take note of the word “some”. Hehehe. There are just times when I was too darn lazy to take photos.  The CPK pizza was given to me during my bed rest confinement by my brother-in-law.

3. Do you hold a grudge? Sometimes, yes. But then I eventually forget about it.

5. What would be your dream job? I am already living it.  I have always wanted to become a housewife just like my mom.

6. What is the happiest event you’ve experienced? Every day is a happy day when I get to spend it with my hubby and daughter without any pressure of doing anything.

7. What is the saddest thing you’ve experienced? My miscarriage 2 years ago.
8. Do you tend to exaggerate or underestimate? I exaggerate.

9. List the cars that you have owned. Give us just a few words about each one. None.  All the cars that I have used are either my dad’s (he, my mom or the family driver always drove us to where we wanted to go) or my husband’s.  See, I do not need to have one, not one listed to my name anyways.

Yesterday, my daughter and I spent the day together just like we used to.  It has been a long time since we spent the day like that. We were not rushing. We did everything that we wanted to do. We ate everything that we wanted to eat.  Yesterday was the last day of her exams and since she did so well the entire year, I decided to take her out and let her have fun.  As in, you could literally see how happy she was. She was skipping her way to her favorite restaurant, to the movie house and even to her favorite gelato place. I wanted to skip with her too but of course I cant. If only we could spend days like that everyday, one would not need to make use of a wrinkle cream. It was definitely a stress free day for the both of us.  Parking was not even a problem which is odd since it was a friday.

Anyways, as part of what she wanted, we watched Alice in Wonderland.  The movie was incredible. We both loved it! Actually, she wanted to watch it again and did not want to leave the movie house.  I remember when I was a kid Alice in Wonderland wasn’t one of my favorite stories/cartoon. In fact, that story has given me nightmares especially the cat. I hated that cat. I thought my daughter would feel the same way about it. But because of the twists of the story, I do not think she will have any problems with it. In fact, she enjoyed every minute of it. She was rooting for Alice every step of the way. If you were in the movie house with us, she was the one who was shouting, “Alice! Alice! Alice!, etc.!” Hehehhe!

Yesterday, was such a great day. Too bad my husband had to work. Anyways, this was the picture that my daughter wanted me to take of her and Alice and the gang.
