I Have Changed
I think I am changing. For the first time in my adult life, I danced in front of people whom I don’t really know. Well, I know them because they are employees of our company but I don’t really know them. Basta. Hehhehe. And for the first time in my life I actually enjoyed an employee event. Ever since I was hired at this company, we would always be in company events but I never really enjoyed them. Really.
Now, I am enjoying. I am laughing my heart out. I love doing what I am doing. Maybe because I am about to leave so I am trying to enjoy the last days that I will be spending with them. If ever, this will be my last Christmas at the company I have been working for, for 10 years. I even shook my hips with the very cute COO. Ha! My ex-teammates would be surprised if they know what I did. The ever shy Cheryll is not so shy anymore. I danced the papaya dance together with the HR team and taught the employees how to do it… even the senior officers. I danced the cha cha with some guy from APD. I sang the videoke. (I don’t seldom sing even with the magic sing here at home or at my in-laws’ place). We were dancing and singing and laughing our hearts out. I TOTALLY enjoyed the 1st employees’ night. And they enjoyed it with me.
I am probably changing. Another, I am so proud of myself moment.
