The Choice That I Made

My boss asked me today if I can stay and not leave the company. I just replied with a smile that completely says no. Did you know that I finally did it? I passed my resignation letter last week. I am finally letting go of my comfort zone. That zone of receiving a salary twice a month plus bonuses. That’s no joke. I am letting go of my shopping habit. I am letting go of responsibilities that is already part of my ego. I am letting go of everything that is familiar to me. I am letting go of something that has been part of me for the last 10 years.
I know I am making the right decision. It’s a choice between my daughter and my career. I choose my daughter.
I will always choose my daughter.
