My Daughter And Other Random Thoughts

I promised myself there will be no more cross posting amongs my 3 blogs. So each blog will contain different items. Haha.

Anyways, based on my daughter’s teachers, cheska’s development is very fast. So I am really proud of that fact. She seems to really like her school and her school work. There was that only one time when she begged me not to take her to school. Her teachers told me that kids also experience what we call Monday Blues. I completely understand, I am so much like her. Hahaha! That is the reason why they always resume classes on a Tuesday. So I should not worry about that. Also the teacher (teacher gloria) explained that she is just learning structure. Before she used to spend all day at home and now there is structure as she has classes from Mondays to Fridays. So maybe she was still adjusting that time.

Actually that was only one time as she always wanted to go to school after that. Even when she didn’t have classes, she wanted to go to school. So I also did not worry after that.

I like her school even when she has assignments everyday. Imagine having assignments during nursery?! I do not even remember having any assignments then. So now I always check her assignment notebook because I know she has 2 or 3 assignments. They are teaching study habits much like the principles behind kumon where they teach discipline and study habits, etc.

I did not have good study habits before that is why I hope my daughter would not be like me. So hopefully, the value of studying everyday (with or without assignments) will be instilled in her even at this stage in her life. Plus I also stop working (take a pause rather) when I assist her with her assignments so it provides us a chance to bond with each other a little more. And I love it when we do her assignments together.

I love being a stay-at-home mom! I could not even imagine how all this can be possible when I work at a regular office from 9 to 5. So I am super grateful that I have this chance to be what I have always wanted to be. I should have done this earlier.

I always thank the Lord for this chance to be with my daughter whenever she needs me (or even when she does not). I am so lucky. I have always known this is what I wanted to do ever since I was a child. I never even saw myself as somebody who worked in an office. I never had that dream. Although I know I had to pass thru working in an office just so I can meet my husband.

Therefore, things happen for a reason and dreams do come true!
