Lazy Weekends
The reason why we love to come at my parents’ other house aside from my mom’s great cooking is because of the lcd monitors that the house has. What we do is we watch dvd movies all day long using those things. My dad usually watches downstairs while we watch at the living room upstairs. Surfing is not an option because there is no internet there (YET). Sometimes I am lucky because my plug it modem works but not all the time and when it does not work, all I can do is watch movies with my siblings too. It always brings back memories when we were still growing up and not to mention reed thin. Back then, we can only read books or watch vhs tapes. My mom would always rent vhs tapes at a nearby video store.
For me, it feels like we are in the province because there is nothing to do every time. We just eat and watch movies and then eat again. Sometimes we play the taboo game which brings all of us closer together.
