Wishing For More Hours Per Day
I think I need to hire people to do some of the work that I have. I am up to my ears with work and they keep on coming. I do not want to let go or turn down some because work is still work and that means moo-lah for me. But as much as I would like to do all of them, I can’t. From the moment I wake up I start working already, I take a pause when I have to bring my daughter to summer school but then I rush back to the house to get some work done. I rush back to school to fetch her and bring her back straight home. No pit stop, no malls, nada. Sometimes I bring my handy dandy notebook with me so while waiting for my daughter, I write down what I can about the topics assigned to me. In that way, I can get some work done too.
So even if I work like 19 hours per day, there are still some tasks left undone. Besides more are coming in. Sayang naman if I do not do them. My husband told me that I should choose what I want to do. Oo nga naman kaso the thing is I want to do all of them. The topics are all interesting and I can do them naman the problem is I lack the time. If only I have 40 hours per day……
Oh well, back to work.
