My Pre-Christmas Resolution

If there is one thing that I do not want to buy for myself right now. It is plus size lingerie. Although I must admit that my existing ones are getting tighter by the minute. Hahah! Not really funny. But if people will give me a couple of pieces for Christmas, who am I to refuse them?

Anyways, even if that happens, I still plan to lose weight and I plan to do it right now.

Twilight

Well, I first heard of Twilight several months ago or was it a year ago from my sister B. I do not think anybody knew it existed back then. She was the only one who was into it. She would blog about it and read her books over and over again. Basta, I knew she loved Edward before anybody else. So she called first dibs on him. Hahhaha. So I can only look at Edward as a brother-in-law and nothing more.

Anyways, even when everybody was already raving about the book and everybody seemed to be reading the book and finishing it after a day or two, I still haven’t started reading it. I have a lot of books lined up you see. But even that was the scenario for me, I still planned to read the book and then watch the movie after.

But then…

Everybody started raving about the movie at my plurkworld and then there was this link that I only had to click and I could watch it online. So last Sunday, I could no longer resist the pull of Twilight and Edward. I watched it when my daughter and my husband were sleeping. Since I was not able to read the book, I did not have anything to base it from and so I was not disappointed with the movie. I loved Edward and what he represented. He is every girl’s dream guy. Bad boy on the oustide but soft and chewy on the inside. No pun intended. I loved the story line. I loved everything about it.

I still have plans on watching it on the big screen. Just not right now where everybody seems to be in the movie houses especially those screaming teenagers. Although I cannot promise I will not scream myself. Haha… hay.

Anyways, I have already started with the book. In fact I think I am halfway there. The book has pushed itself on top of my books pile because I want to know more of what really happened at Twilight. Some of my plurkmates say that the movie was not as good as the book. I loved the movie so I know I will love the book even more. That is a given. Twilight magnet.

Suffice to say that I love that the movie is online as well. So whenever I want to watch Edward I can. Lol!

This is the part that I loved the most (aside from the baseball part) when Edward asked Belle if he trusts him. Definitely a leap of faith. I will say yes too if he asks me. Hahaha! Peace B!

Be The Wiser

These days, we have to be wise in our spendings. We have to earn more and spend a little. When we have to spend make sure that it is some sort of investment for you. Personally, I have been thinking of putting up a small business. Online money making ventures are no longer what it used to be anymore. There was a time when money seems to be falling out of virtual trees but no longer. And since it is no longer the case, I have been checking out this small business for sale.

Did you see the moon last night? It would appear that the heavens are smiling down at us. I wanted to take a picture but I somehow forgot. We were going to and fro my parents’ place to my sil’s place so I forgot. There were like 2 stars beside the moon in an isosceles triangle shape way. It was like a computer-like type of smile. Maybe God has his own personal computer now and checking out his smilies and found the smiling emoticon cute and so he formed the stars and the moon that way to show us that He is smiling.

I don’t know. Call me weird or whatevs but last night gave me hope. For me, it was like a sign that said I will be ok. We will be ok.

So smile and don’t let the days get you down. If God sees a reason to smile down at us, I don’t think we have any reason not to smile back at Him.

Christmas Gift To Hubby

Just got back from my brother-in-law’s birthday bash. (Is it still called brother-in-law when it’s my sister-in-law’s husband?) Anyways, we spent most of the time watching the video presentation of all the pictures accumulated over the years via his video ipod connected to the tv. Aside from that, we also watched the videos of all the kids dancing from several years back up to the present. It was fun. It is always nice to reminisce. I love looking at my daughter’s baby pictures and her videos too.

If there is one thing that my husband and I do not have, we do not have an ipod yet. Due to our busy schedule, we figured we do not need one. My bil, Ed, said that the music is different when you use the ipod. I do not really know for sure but I will take his word for it. Boys will be boys and I am sure my husband will appreciate an ipod. Maybe I will give him one as our (my daughter and myself) Christmas gift to him. I think an ipod makes a great gift. I just have to figure out whether I should give him an ipod nano or an Ipod touch. To help me out I will be checking out this Price comparison site so I will be able to get the best bargain price for it.

Grey’s Anatomy Season 4

I am a grey’s anatomy fan. I cried with Grey, Yang, Burke and the rest of the cast for the past 4 seasons. Let me just say that season 4 is their best season just because the last episode was really so heart warming. It left a very positive vibe for me that I could not wait for season 5. Heart, heart, heart all of them!

Separation Anxiety

I am having separation anxiety. My daughter sleeps in her own bed now for the past 5 days and I miss her. You would sometimes catch me transferring to her bed just because I want to smell her hair or hug her while she is sleeping. She would always ask for a hug before she sleeps at night but that’s it.

I know. I know. It is time for her to sleep on her own but I thought she would ask for me once in a while. Haha!

Not Right Now

If there is one thing that we do not need right now, we do not need a tv stand. It just would not fit anymore. I do not even know where our old tv stand was anymore. What we need is a new tv. Hahaa! I am sure my husband would love that. Although I do not think we will be buying a new tv anytime soon as our old one is still working and nothing is wrong with it anyways. My husband just wants a new one.

Madagascar 2

Last saturday, my daughter and I watched Madagascar 2. We were supposed to do a little Christmas shopping but after a couple of toys bought at Toys R Us. We were both tired and so we watched Madagascar 2 after lunch. What can I say? My daughter and I had a lot of fun. We were singing and dancing with the characters… “I want to move it, move it!” You could not help not to have fun. This was definitely better than the 1st Madagascar based on my opinion.

Sayang lang coz my husband was not with us when we watched the movie. He had to do something at the office. It was only supposed to take a few minutes but a few minutes turned into a couple of hours. It was ok because WE.HAD.FUN!

I assure you will enjoy every minute of it with your kids or even when you are all alone. This is a definite “must-see” movie. For kids and adults alike.

I want to move it, move it!
