The recent news about the hostage crisis that ended in a tragedy has broken the hearts of so many people. If only the ones who handled the situated had better skills when it comes to hostage taking, maybe it would not have ended that way. Although who can tell.. it can still go either way. That is why it is important for our military people to get the right training to have the right skills. I think that it does not matter if our men have the right equipment, although it helps if we do, it is just more important to have the right skills.

After watching the entire thing live on tv, I know that a lot of our men and women out there think that they could have handled it better… so if you are one of those who have the heart or the desire to serve our country, check out online military degrees because it boils down to having the right education while serving the country.

B Is Back

My youngest sister is coming back tomorrow and I know that my mom is happy about that. My sister B has been assigned at Indonesia for 2 months because of work. Although I know that she won’t stay long her in Manila because she has to go to Davao for another project.

Since she is the youngest girl in the family, we all treat her as a baby. In fact, we still see her as one. We all think that she is still in grade school. Even my high school friends cannot believe that she is grown up. Hehehe! So can’t wait to see you tomorrow B!

God Wants You To Know

I have always been amazed by one of the applications in facebook called “God wants you to know…” Most of the time the messages are right on the money. Whenever I feel bad or lost or just happy, I click on it and it tells me what I need to know at that particular moment. Just like today…

It is true that I have been feeling anxious these past few days because of Cheska’s health. She can’t seem to get rid of her cough. We have given her all the meds that 2 doctors already prescribed her. But she still has it and it does not seem to get any better. And because of her cough, I am afraid for my baby Ramiel because she might catch it. Thankfully, her immune system is still high. Thanks to breastmilk. Hehe!

What I Want For Christmas

Christmas is just around the corner. A lot of people already started giving their christmas greetings yesterday. It just puts more pressure on me since I have a lot of people to shop for but I do not see how I will be able to do just that with 2 kids in tow. I can’t leave baby number 2 at home since I am exclusively breastfeeding her. Besides, I am more at peace if the three of us are together. However, it makes shopping a little more difficult. Plus, there are more people at the mall during the holidays which makes me more afraid for my 2 girls. Hehe!

But if you ask me what I want for Christmas. I already know what that is. I want a new watch preferably a Ulysse Nardin Macho Palladium. I think I deserve it. If only my hubby reads this blog, then I would be so happy. Lol!

The Most Perfect Day

I spent the whole day with my 2 kids today. Hubby already went back to work. No pressure to do any assignments or school work from daughter number 1′s school, no pressure to dress up and entertain guests. Nada. It was just us and I am loving it. Although daughter number 2 is sleeping, feeding and pooping most of the time, I do not mind. I also love it that all 3 of us got to take a nap in the same bed.

If only somebody will fix my binder after I take a bath then this is the most perfect day. I can’t do it alone because I want it really tight. As i have said in my previous blog post, the doctor removed the stitches yesterday, so I am really quite scared to move especially if it’s not as tight as I want it to be.

Becoming An Advocate

I have been itching to go to the mall these past few days but I know that I am unable to especially since my doctor is quite strict about me going to the mall. I have to heal first before I can even set foot on a mall. Although, the other day was my cheat day because we went to the mall to buy baby ramiel her stroller. We did not stay long. We just bought a stroller that we could use whenever we are out. Strollers are really convenient to have. Daughter number 1 is quite excited about it since she wants to push the baby every time she is in it.

Anyways, while we were at the mall, we were a little bit traumatized because there wasn’t any breastfeeding areas. I even contemplated on staying at one of the bathrooms just so I could feed my baby but I just settled for one of the fitting rooms. It was a good thing that it was a weekday so there were only a few people in the mall. In fact, there were 4 cubicles in that area and I was the only one using the fitting room. Anyways, I hope that mall owners would consider putting in breastfeeding areas for breastfeeding moms. They might be surprised how many breastfeeding advocates there are.

Back to the stroller, since we were rushing, hubby bought the first lightweight stroller he could find. He figured I need something lightweight and not those big, bulky ones since I will be the one who will use it more.

Healing Quite Well

We went to my doctor today for my appointment. She said that she will check how my stitches are doing. What I did not know was she was going to remove it and the thermaderm strip. She said since it is healing pretty well I no longer need it. I do not even need to put betadine and hydrogen peroxide on the stitches any longer. After 1 week, I think that is pretty awesome. Although quite scary for me. So now I am having terrible visions about it bursting open that is why I wear my binder all the time even when I am asleep.

She also said that she needs to see me on October 1 just to see how my wound is doing and if she can already give me the go-signal to drive.

C Is Sick Again

Daughter number 1 is sick again. It is frustrating since I cannot take care of her like before. Her cough is really bad and she has colds which made my husband bring out the big guns which are the nebulizer and the babyhaler. We haven’t used the babyhaler yet but she already had her first dose of nebule today. Hay! Doctor says that it’s bacteria and we should not worry about dengue but she is still sick. I guess the past few days took its toll on her. We had several visitors in the house and I guess she got a little too excited. I hope that she gets well soon.

Anyways, this just goes to show why we should keep ourselves healthy at all times especially since the weather brings out the worst in our health. Remember this, our health is our wealth and term life insurance keeps us protected especially during the times when we can no longer protect ourselves and our love ones. You can never regret getting one just like you can never regret being healthy and staying healthy.

My Source Of Happiness

What is your source of happiness? Mine is my family. I know a lot of women out there who are not happy in their present scenario. It is too bad really because life is too short for regrets. We should enjoy every minute of every single day with our source of happiness. Actually, happiness comes from different sources. Mine just comes from my family. Others find happiness in a bullion. Who could blame them? A gold bullion offers stability like no other. Imagine if you collect a whole lot of them, the feeling of financial security is there and you can bring it anywhere with you if you want to. I am sure we all want to be financially secure. Who does not? I am just saying that if I have my family and gold then I will be the happiest person in the world.

Can a person have it all?
